I hate being out sick — so it was great to get back to school today. Thanks to 2nd and 4th for great sub notes! Here’s what we did:
Juniors: I collected your Laws of Life Essays. You submitted one to me and one with your entry form for the contest. Both needed to be turned in for full credit. See yesterday’s post for more info. if you were absent. Late papers will be accepted tomorrow for -10 pts. This paper counts as 100% in the essay/test category of your grade. We then went over your study guide and did a test review for tomorrow’s test on Romanticism. These study guides are due tomorrow for a partial quiz grade.
HW: STUDY, STUDY, STUDY for your test. And, remember to bring a pencil for your test tomorrow!
Sophomores: Woohoo!!! I was so proud of both periods today as we did our first official Socratic Seminar. Good job! Both periods were great! We will continue with our LOTF wrap-up discussion tomorrow after your quiz. HW: Study for LOTF Vocabulary Quiz #2.
