Hey Folks! Yay! Only two more school days left and then we have five days off for Turkey Day!

Here’s what we did today:

SAT PREP: Class started at 7:45 am. Basic Parts of Speech test will be Monday. Vocab. Quiz #5 will be Tuesday. HW: Study for test.

American Lit.: You were given all period to work on your Crucible portfolio. I answered questions and proofread samples of you work all period.

Reminders for your portfolio:  Both the thematic essay and research paper must be turned into www.turnitin.comby no later than 8:25 am Monday. Portfolio will not be accepted without both turned in and receipt numbers on your rubric, remember MLA format for title and headings, remember 2-3 different parenthetical citations per paragraph and cite anything that is not general information. Order for paper: Top to bottom: rubric with info. fully completed and turnitin.com receipt numbers for each paper, research paper, works cited page, thematic essay, poem, art part (only if it will fit in portfolio, if it is over-sized, put your first and last name and period on it and turn it in separately, and any rough drafts. Must be in clear report cover. 

Portfolios will be accepted after Thanksgiving for a maximum of a 50%. 

HW: FINISH Portfolio. Due Monday.

10th grade honors lit.: You read your hw assignment for half the period (Ch. 32) and then for the other half, you worked with your Victorian Tea Party committees.

HW: Finish as much as you can in JE — book must be finished by Tuesday!
